The Torcher Experience — A Historic Mini Durbar at Adaklu Goefe

Adaklu Goefe — March 4, 2026

On March 4, 2026, the people of Adaklu Goefe witnessed a historic moment. At Breeze Bar, in partnership with Adakluto Tours and the Livingstone Foundation, the first-ever edition of the Torcher Experience opened with a Mini Durbar — and Afro-Dancehall king Stonebwoy was at the centre of it.

By the end of the day, he wasn’t just a guest. He was a chief.

A Historic Gathering

The Paramount Chief of the Adaklu Traditional Area, Togbega Gbogbi Atsa V, took his place alongside chiefs, elders and community members at Breeze Bar. Drums spoke, kente glowed in the afternoon sun, and the courtyard filled with the kind of quiet that arrives only before something big.

From Stonebwoy to Togbe Dunyo I

In recognition of his contributions to music, youth empowerment and community development, Stonebwoy was enstooled as a Development Chief of Adaklu Goefe and conferred with the traditional title Togbe Dunyo I — a name that carries with it a shared commitment to the growth of the community.

The Paramount Chief also used the moment to announce a future initiative: “Stonebwoy City”, a vision to allocate land in Adaklu for a project promoting creativity, tourism and youth development.

A Night to Remember

When the sun went down, the durbar gave way to a celebration that lit up the foothills. Stonebwoy took the stage in his new kente, the crowd answered every call, and the first edition of the Torcher Experience earned its name — a torch passed between music, culture and community.
